Who does this case affect?

All individuals who work or worked remotely for Inspire Charter Schools, Provenance, or Inspire Charter Services in California at any time during August 17, 2016 through the present date.  This case also affects all individuals who work worked for Inspire Charter Schools, Provenance, or Inspire Charter Services in California at any time during the period of August 17, 2019 through the present date and received a wage statement (paystub) that did not list “Inspire Charter Services” as the legal name of the employer.

What are the allegations?

The complaint alleges (1) failure to reimburse business expenses; (2) unfair business practices; (3) failure to provide accurate wage statements; and (4) civil penalties under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
