Who does this case affect?

All individuals currently or formerly employed by Premier or Aveanna as non-exempt employees (internal and external employees) in California at any time during the period of February 9, 2018 through the present date, including nurses, licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), and other healthcare workers.

What are the allegations?

The complaint alleges and seeks civil penalties under the Private Attorneys General Act for (1) failure to pay wages (minimum and regular wage); (2) failure to pay overtime wages; (3) failure to timely pay wages each payday; (4) meal and rest period violations; (5) inaccurate wage statements; (6) failure to maintain employment records; (7) failure to reimburse business expenses; and (8) failure to comply with California’s paid sick leave laws.
