Ricardo De Leon

Ricardo De Leon brings a diverse background of practical experience and academic excellence to the firm. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University before attending the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate.

During his legal studies, Ricardo distinguished himself as a leader and scholar, serving as a Senior Editor for the USD International Law Journal and as Treasurer of the USD La Raza Student Association. These roles allowed him to hone his analytical skills and demonstrate his commitment to the legal community.

Ricardo’s professional foundation is built on a broad range of practical experience. He has served as a law clerk across several distinct practice areas, including the USD Immigration Clinic, where he navigated complex regulatory environments. His background also includes clerkships at firms specializing in advising small businesses, medical malpractice, and a non-profit focused on legislative reform, providing him with a versatile perspective on civil litigation and legal practice generally.

Originally from San Francisco, Ricardo has proudly made San Diego his home. When he isn’t advocating for clients, he enjoys staying connected to the vibrant community he has called home since his undergraduate years and attending San Diego Padres and San Diego FC games.
